Off U.S. Highway 98 near the eastern boundary of Destin. This 208-acre park is a habitat for sand pines, scrub oaks, Southern magnolias, not to mention a variety of wildlife, including black skimmers, sanderlings and gulls. Sand dunes and sea oats, two bathhouses, outdoor showers, boardwalks (two handicapped accessible). Also picnic tables, pavilions and grills. Admission is $4 per vehicle up to eight people. |
